The Pony Hair Guide: A Complete Guide to Vintage My Little Pony Hair

Hasbro's Colors

Variables - you might compare your pony's hair to a paticular color in the list and find that it does not match perfectly.  This may occur because of two variables:

1.  Some shades look quite different in person than in photographs; for example, neon shades tend to photograph several shades brighter than the actual color.
However, the creators of Pony Hair Guide have attempted to take large, clear, photographs that accurately represent the described hair colors.  We feel confident that the photographs show a good representation of colors.  However, the images provided are meant for clarification, and because of fading and varying moniter color, we do not guarentee that the color you see is exact.

2.
It has been over two decades since My Little Ponies were first produced by Hasbro.  Nylon hair is prone to fading over time, sometimes moreso in lighter colors (like pink, yellow) than darker colors (dark blue, dark green). The creators of this guide have designated the actual right-out-of-the-factory colors as Orignal Colors. We believe that variations of these colors are due to fading and should not be considered new, individual colors.
