to the Pony Hair Guide! This website serves as a guide to
everything related to vintage My Little Pony
hair. This
website has been created by the combined efforts of several dedicated
pony
collectors: Strawberry Fair, Chrissytree, Wysteria, Spottedslug,
Binkyfinder, SillyBilly, and Lilthdrff. Website information
and
narration has been compiled by Strawberry Fair.
Now
that all credit has been given, we thank you for visiting, and hope you

During
my time in the My Little Pony community, I
have seen collectors who wish to repair damaged hair on their
ponies
(especially those that are rare) with hair of the
exact
shade, as well as customizers who seek both old and new
colors to create unique projects. Yet many
collectors struggle to understand hair type and
color. What
kind of fiber is real pony hair made of? What colors did
Hasbro
produce? Can I buy new hair, or do I need to take hair from
another pony?
With so many variations of type and
color available, I decided to create the Pony Hair Guide,
which could explain
pony hair in great detail. I wanted to cover everything
from large, clear
photographs of actual colors to retailer comparison charts.
As I
began researching the subject, and reaching out to other collectors for
information and help, the Pony Hair Guide began to grow steadily.
Though still under construction, many helpful
sections are
available for viewing, and I and my research partners continue to compare
notes and present new information.
We
have worked hard to provide you with the most accurate information
possible. Most of what you see here has been double- or
triple-checked by multiple collectors. However, if you feel
as
though we have made any errors, please
